Lagos Dog Carnival 2019
The very first Lagos Dog Carnival. 150 dogs and their owners gathered at Freedom Park.
Lagos Dog Carnival 2020
Maintained consistency with a unique theme that brought hope and joy during challenging times.
Carnival & Soiree 2021
Returned with the 'My Dog and I Group Soiree 2021' and the annual carnival.
Lagos Dog Carnival 2022
Introduced the famous runway show. Featured on national TV.

The architectural mind behind the Carnival. She breathes life into every detail, from the grand parade to the historical record attempts, ensuring the Lagos Dog Carnival stays the gold standard of pet events in Africa.
Gabby Idimogu
Convener
Our resident "Animal Whisperer" and master of fun. Gabby is responsible for the chaos, the play, and the magic. If you see a dog wearing a tuxedo or a cat judging a competition, that's likely her doing. She ensures 100% tail-wagging satisfaction!
Safety First
To ensure a successful Guinness World Record attempt and a fun day for everyone, we enforce strict safety protocols.
Vet Checks Mandatory
All dogs must have an up-to-date vaccination card (Anti-Rabies / DHLPP). On-site vets will inspect every dog at entry.
Leash Rules
No retractable leashes allowed. All dogs must be on a fixed leash (max 6ft) at all times unless in designated off-leash zones.
