2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register for events or use our services. By using our platform, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2.2 Account Responsibilities

• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3. Event Registration & Attendance

3.1 Registration

• All registrations are subject to availability
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel registrations
• Registration fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled

3.2 Dog Requirements

• All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations (Anti-Rabies, DHLPP)
• Dogs must be leashed at all times unless in designated off-leash areas
• Aggressive dogs will be asked to leave immediately
• Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs

3.3 Safety & Liability

You attend events at your own risk. My Dog and I is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during events. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless My Dog and I, its organizers, sponsors, and partners from any claims arising from your participation.

4. Community Guidelines

When using our platform or attending events, you agree to:

• Treat all members with respect and kindness
• Not engage in harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior
• Not post or share inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Respect the privacy of other members
• Follow all instructions from event staff and organizers

5. Intellectual Property

All content on our platform, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of My Dog and I or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

5.1 User Content

By submitting photos, videos, or other content, you grant My Dog and I a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your content for promotional purposes.

6. Photography & Media

By attending our events, you consent to being photographed or recorded. These images may be used for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify event staff.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

• Event cancellations will be communicated via email and social media
• Refunds will be issued only if an event is cancelled by My Dog and I
• No refunds for no-shows or voluntary cancellations
• We reserve the right to modify event details with reasonable notice

8. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use our services for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Distribute viruses or malicious code
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Scrape or harvest data from our platform
• Bring unvaccinated or aggressive dogs to events

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Dog and I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or attendance at events.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
